Hi! My name is Mette, full time freelance travel writer and travel blogger.
I founded Reiselykke, a Norwegian online travel magazine and blog back in 2011 and was awarded Norway’s best travel blogger at Reiselivsmessen in Oslo in 2017.
Besides running Reiselykke as travel blog and online magazine, I publish digital travel guides from my personally researched travels. I also offer travel articles (text and photography) to various publications, both editorial and commercial companies.
I contribute to VG’s travel section (Norway’s largest newspaper) as travel writer and columnist on a regular basis.
As freelance travel journalist
As travel journalist and columnist, I deliver articles to various media.
I write columns related to travel, as well as travel articles, portraits and interviews and feature articles. I have several articles published regularly in VG’s travel magazine VG Reise (published four times a year), their daily newspaper and/or in their online travel magazine, vg.no/reise
As travel photographer
As travel journalist and blogger, I deliver travel articles with photos I’ve taken myself. I also sell travel photography to media houses for articles written by their in house journalists.
My travel photography is seen in publications such as VG, NTB, Dagbladet, Norsk Ukeblad, Aschehoug Litteratur, etc.
As travel blogger
Reiselykke.com was awarded Norway’s Best Travel Blog in 2017. In addition, I have a newly released this travel blog in the English language, TravelFelicity.com, which focus on highlights from travels and my portfolio as travel writer and photographer.
As travel expert
As travel blogger and writer, I am contacted by various media to talk about trends, travel tips and destinations.
Publisher of digital guides
I publish digital travel guides for the Norwegian market and sell them online at my shop at ReiselykkeMedia.no.
