WELCOME TO MY TRAVEL WORLD
My name is Mette, and I work as freelance writer, publisher and travel blogger.
I founded Reiselykke, a Norwegian online travel magazine and blog back in 2011 and was awarded Norway’s best travel blogger at Reiselivsmessen, the travel fair in Oslo, in 2017.
Besides running Reiselykke as travel blog and online magazine, I publish digital travel guides from personally researched adventures. I also offer travel articles (text and photography) to various publications, both editorial and commercial companies. I contribute to VG’s travel section (Norway’s largest newspaper) as travel writer and columnist on a regular basis.
At Travel Felicity I will display highlights from my travels, as well as my portfolio as freelance travel writer, journalist and photographer.
Besides a genuine interest in exploring the world, I love reading, writing and storytelling. I am also highly interested in everything to do with publishing. Having worked in one of Norway’s leading publishing houses for fifteen years, I finally took the big step: to become a full-time freelance writer and to explore the things I love the most: to capture the things I experience around the world in words and photography.
